My Little Red Riding Hood - Clarins Travel Palette: Swatches!

This time around..I decided to do my long pending posts first...  So here is another one of my cherished possession - more so coz my lovely lil sis gifted it to me. Yeps, the same one who got me hooked to smashbox first through her sojourns abroad!

This was purchased a year back.... I had told her to look around for a travel palette from a good brand ... since I was hunting for one here... but apparently they sell the good ones only at airports... :P beats me why!

Yeah...I am a palette addict... I love the way all beautiful things come together at once in such a small case!

So here is my precious... more so coz my sis is the most generous and sweet soul who reads my mind! :D

I got this as a freebie with some bourjois purchases a lil while back. Seriously I was smitten by this lil beauty the first time I saw it! I wanted it so much - I would have paid for it - if it was not free! :P

Bourjois apparently had a mini range too elsewhere in the world- I dunno if it still is sold in other places or only given as freebies... this one was in a sealed plastic pack - so its not a tester.

I would totally ike bourjois to launch the Mini range over here as it will allow us makeup junkies to buy & try more variety with burning smaller holes in our pocket!

This colour is shade-06. Its a lovely colour- a mix of olive+brown+gold - Like a lovely brownish Khaki I think.... It is a twist-up pencil - so no sharpening-no wastage!

It really looks good on my brown eyes- kind of accentuates them in a nice understated way- but I think it will look good on all Indian girls- its such a universally flattering colour- especially when you don't wont full-powered black on your eyes!
 
The good news is ,,,,,,as told by the SA- this color exciting eyeliner range is launching soon here. :D

An itsy-bitsy-tiny-mini Bourjois Haul !!!

So you guys must wonder where I wander off sometimes.... but what can I say...

Anyways my laptop is currently hogged by my hubby tubby... so me not getting much time for my blog!

So what do I do when I am not writing about makeup.... I think about it... then eventually I end up buying stuff... like these little beauties below...(though I m trying hard to not-buy!)

So on my trip to the mall at Tagore garden.... I angled over to Bourjois (don't you love their counter!)deciding I need to swatch their eyeliners... I was hunting for a nice jewel purple eyeliner..(its another thing that the only thing I did not buy is a purple eyeliner!:P )

So I decided to buy this duochrome green liner - I was having a secret crush on for a loooooong time!
(I had to buy something... I had swatched nearly every eyeliner the SA had!)

Then it happened... my inner lipstick junkie could not resist those bourjois lipies.... and I swatched them...
fell in love with this colour.... I said yes when she said she would give me a freebie too (She was sweet unlike that rude SA in GIP noida) :)

So here's my mini haul...

My Inglot Haul Swatches and some More Inglot !!!

Finally I have managed to do the swacthes of my Inglot haul!

So here it is for all you lovelies....

BUT first.... let me tell you the whole story....

Me and my sis were busy hopping around select citywalk in saket... when we saw inglot... she wanted to get some things... I wanted to get a palette for my freedom system haul...

To cut a long story short... Both of us ended up buying the Freedom palettes (completely filled for her... half for me!) See that's what you do when you walk in Inglot -can't get enough of those lovely rainbow hues surrounding you!!!

So I'll let the pics speak now..

NOTD - Cute lil' bows for your Nails !

If you saw my post about my Accesories haul - you would already know about my love for cut lil' bows!

Now I came accross these pretty 3D kinda nail art stickers in New U and decided to dress up my nails...

This look can be achieved in under 10 minutes and requires only the following 3 things.
Even a novice can attempt this one!!

What you need is a base colour (I chose a nude pink) - nail art stickers and a top coat!

You get pretty nails with embossed 3D bows on them in the end!

Only 3 things needed!

 

 

 It cost me about Rs.30/- ONLY

 This sticker was filled with 10 lil bows too.... which are on my fingers now! So it looks a tad empty...

This lasted for a good time (4-5 days) and only about 1-2 bows were scrapped out (with heavy usage!)
The bows look painted on from afar and were not too raised-up .... looked rather nice... Don't ya think??

Plus you can wear this even at work! (at least for me!)

These stickers are available in many shapes... will be surely getting more of these!

My Experience with Shopatmajorbrands.com + Inglot Haul!

After reading the ever-so-lovely Indian Beauty Central's awe-inspiring and amazing posts on Inglot Cosmetics (also the 30% discount scheme!), I could no longer hold-on to my self-control about no-more lippie buying sprees - and I did what comes naturally to me.... HAULed!

It was a pleasant  and smooth shopping experience shopping with shopatmajorbrands .. the order arrived within 5 days I think.

I have been going nuts over accesories lately.....
