Pinky swear!!! this bag can be ur wrecked-on-an-island saviour!!

I got this cute bag sometime back and it's one pretty addition to my vanity!
It has four items which could take a girl from not to hot for the day/s!!

It had-

A glow foundation- coral(Rs 150 for 30 ml)
Glow compact -marble ( Rs 150 for 8 g)
Liquid eyeliner- green
Lip gloss - juicy pink( Rs 110 for 9ml)

I liked all items in general though the foundation was a lil dark for my skintone- but blended out it seemed fine . For a second I got scared looking at the shade name-coral, I thought some orange goop would come out-thankfully not!!!

The compact was finely milled and easy to apply. Very smooth and good value foe money.
Both the foundation and compact had a lemongrass kind of scent( like lakme cc cream) whereas I would prefer them unscented.

The eyeliner was a pretty gunmetal green which is a very unique shade and totally a winner- fine brush, good pigmentation and does not smudge unless removed with makeup remover!

The lip gloss was a nice pink shade good for gloss lovers- esp teens and college girls. Maybe I like lipstick too much to really dig this. Though I love their lipsticks a lot -can't beat them fir the price!!!!!

All items are well-priced and total value for money.

I do wish they were better distributed and easier to find- though most online sites have them nowadays.
Also get rid of the scent- takes away from an otherwise decent product!!!

A thumbs up from me!

Yay's
  • A good on-the-go compact for the days when you are in a rush!
  • A little product is used each time for the whole face - so this will last me a good amount of time!
  • Gives medium coverage- Covers minor imperfections but not freckles (only partially)
  • The sponge applicator provided is good enough for applying this 3-in1 compact - its even rounded at edges for delicate areas like eyes :)
  • Blends easily and this shade is a good match for my skintone (I wanted a shade which will not make me look whitish!)
  • Gives a good matte effect
  • Lasts for about 3-4 hours
Nay's
  •  They have increased the price to 425/- I tried this when it was 375/- which was reasonable BUT At the current price it will appear expensive to many!
  •  Does not give full coverage like it claims - U need a concealer for that even with this!
The Last Word:
It is my Quickie compact when I dont have the time for the whole concealer-foundation thing. It saves me a lot of time - sometimes I even skip the face powder! A good compact if you are not looking for heavy/absolute coverage. Hopefully you find ur good match!

Yay's
  • Does mattify the face - at least for a couple of hours!
  • Blends well with my skin tone - a good match!
  • Soft applicator
  • Made in UK (I don't want to sound like a haughty British BUT a relief from all the Made in CHINA stuff we always see from other brands!)
  • Affordable - Could have been a regular feature in my handbag IF ONLY...( read further)

Nay's
  •  No Mirror ! :O Why would you NOT include a mirror in a Compact meant for touch ups during the day & NO it does not last the whole day (if that is indeed the reason Oriflame did not include it!) Its a cardinal sin in this case( me thinks that the company was only cutting costs!) and can be a 'deal breaker' for this otherwise decent product! Increase the price by 10 bucks( a small mirror will never cost a big company that much ..) but INCLUDE a mirror next time!
  • Requires touch-ups during the day (my skin gets super oily and sweaty!)
  • only light coverage for skin spots etc ( I was not expecting the concealer claim to be true anyways!)
  • Cheap packaging - The outer print smudged after a few days of outing in my handbag - thankfully not staining something important! The Upper lid has also separated from the pan now - poor durability!
  • Only available through Oriflame reps.

The Last Word: It has the potential of being a budget friendly compact for many college girls (their apparant target group for VERY ME range) ONLY if they included a mirror! I'll pass it the next time!
